Youth Across Watford is
- Together seeking God’s heart for the youth of Watford.
- Committing to working together.
- Praying together in the heart of the town for the youth of the whole town – see CAW Calender for details. Email if you are interested in joining us - currently reviewing best times/locations.
- Dream team - dreaming together, praying and planning a range of ways to draw young people together, to envision and equip them to serve thier friends, peers and other young people in the context of these gatherings and in their daily lives in school, at home, on the streets and in their youth groups/churches. We are aiming for small and large events to feed into each other and have a strong youth envolvment, lead and shaping role. Unite is a specific aout working of this - but simialr values are involved in other partnership projects.
- Connecting with other agencies & groups.
- Watford Town Chaplaincy – specifically the Youth Chaplains after school project and Skate Park Chaplains.
- Girlabout/Connections.
- Watford Schools Trust.
- Soul Survivor
- Previously some of us & others were involved in running Watford Hope 08 youth meetings, Soul in the City, Noise & Miracle Street projects.
Some of our focus is 11-18 year olds/secondary school age, more is teenagers 13+. Those meeting together are a mix of full, part time and volunteers and from a mix of churches and Christian organisations and we are in contact with a much wider network of people working with young people across the town and the wider local WD post code/Secondary schools & neighbouring areas.
We are part of and are represented on Christians Across Watford.
We’d love to share more of our heart, hear about your heart, pray together, work together, have coffee!
